I finally got to upgrade my website. From the overused wood background style, I made it more colorful yet still bearing the minimalist image I had in mind. It retains the single-page portfolio style as well.
I will be adding a photography section and a retouching section soon. For now, it will be home to my Tumblr themes. Don’t forget to check out my About and Contact page, I made sure they’ll look just as nice as the front page.
Drop comments on my Disqus if you have comments/suggestions as I’m very open to them considering that I want this website to be in the best shape it can be.

Web Design Trends of 2011
I just need to fix the text for this homework and then I can call it done. Still not fully satisfied so I might add more changes in the next few hours if I don’t get lazy.

Intramuros: The Walled City
I’m finally done with my Web Development 1 final exams. We had to make a travel website of sorts. We were given choices and I went with Intramuros. Thank goodness the Internet connection in school is pretty fast, as my website’s not very friendly with people who have slow connections. I used really large images for this. Click-through to see the website.

5 more pages and I’m done with this. Goodness, I spend more time on making the structure than actually putting in content on the pages. I have to leave for school in a while, so I’m putting this project on hold. Hopefully, I get to finish it tonight so I can work on the next website.
Done and done.

Temporary homepage. I’ve been sketching ideas for how I want my website to look, but I can’t stick to just one idea. Loads of brainstorming for this one.

Mock website for an architecture firm done for my Web Development 1 class.
Took me two days to complete, with lots of breaks in between. I went for an experimental approach with this one. Learned a lot of stuff as I worked on this, lots of decisions made, and wasted a few index cards for my sketches and ideas. I need a black book solely for web design.
Clicking the photo leads you to the website. I’m still not 100% in love with the homepage though. Comments/suggestions? :-)
This site isn’t very slow-internet-friendly.

Work. Work. Work.
Hola, Tumblr. I’ve been keeping myself busy since 8AM. 6 hours of WEBDEV1 today was so worth it. I think it’s the only class I can stand for six hours. Having a professor who appreciates all the effort I put into my works makes me happy and keeps me motivated to do better.
ArchitectOne, I will conquer you. Up next is the Boutique Hotel. And then design studies for a school website. Opportunities keep flooding in and here I am not saying no! Good job, self. Not wasting chances this time around.
